Terms of Service

This document is a public offer (a proposal to conclude an agreement) in accordance with Articles 633 and 641 of the Civil Code of Ukraine and governs the terms of provision of psychological counseling services by Oleksandra Stryzhevska (hereinafter — the "Specialist") through the website kintsugispace.org (hereinafter — the "Website").
Payment for a consultation and/or booking a consultation via the form on the Website, Calendly, or another agreed communication channel constitutes the Client's (hereinafter — the "Client") full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this offer (acceptance).
1. General Provisions
1.1. The Specialist provides psychological counseling services.
1.2. Consultations are conducted online via video call (Zoom).
1.3. Services are intended for individuals aged 16 and older. For clients under 18 years of age, counseling is provided with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
1.4. Consultations are not a medical service, do not involve the prescription of medication, and do not replace psychiatric care in crisis conditions.
2. Booking and Conducting a Consultation
2.1. Booking for the first consultation is made by filling out the form on the Website or by scheduling a time via Calendly — depending on whether the Client is contacting for the first time or returning.
2.2. After booking, the Client receives confirmation of the consultation time and a link to the video meeting.
2.3. The duration of one consultation is 50 minutes.
2.4. Consultations are available in Ukrainian, Russian, or English, as agreed with the Client.
2.5. The Client is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space for the consultation.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1. As of the publication date of this offer, the cost of one consultation is 1700 грн / 40 USD (актуальна вартість завжди вказана на відповідній сторінці Сайту).
3.2. Payment is made by bank transfer or card, no later than 2 hours before the start of the consultation.
3.3. Payment details are provided by the Specialist after the consultation time is confirmed.
3.4. If payment is not received by the specified deadline, the booked consultation slot may be cancelled.
4. Rescheduling and Cancellation
4.1. By the Client: if the Client needs to reschedule or cancel a consultation, they must notify the Specialist no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time.
4.2. If cancelled later than the specified deadline, or in case of a no-show without prior notice, 50% of the consultation fee is non-refundable.
4.3. By the Specialist: if the Specialist is unable to conduct the consultation at the scheduled time due to illness or force majeure, they will notify the Client in advance and offer an alternative time or a full refund.
4.4. Rescheduling for valid reasons will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Refunds
5.1. If the consultation does not take place due to the Specialist's fault, the full amount will be refunded to the Client within 24 hours.
5.2. Once a consultation has taken place in full, the fee is non-refundable.
5.3. Refunds in other cases (e.g., cancellation 24+ hours in advance) are handled in accordance with Section 4 of this offer.
6. Rights and Obligations of the Parties
6.1. The Specialist undertakes to:
- provide consultations professionally, in accordance with the ethical standards of psychotherapeutic practice;
- maintain the confidentiality of information disclosed during consultations, in accordance with the Privacy Policy;
- inform the Client of the format, duration, and cost of services before starting the work.
6.2. The Specialist has the right to:
- decline to provide a service if the Client's request falls outside the Specialist's scope of competence (for example, if it requires psychiatric intervention) — with a recommendation to consult an appropriate specialist;
- reschedule a consultation for valid reasons, provided the Client is notified in advance.
6.3. The Client undertakes to:
- provide accurate contact information when booking; ʼ
- pay for consultations in a timely manner in accordance with Section 3;
- notify the Specialist of any rescheduling/cancellation in accordance with Section 4.
7. Confidentiality
7.1. All information shared by the Client during consultations is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, except in cases expressly provided for by law (for example, a threat to the life of the Client or others).
7.2. The processing of the Client's personal data is carried out in accordance with a separate Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. The Specialist's consultations are not a substitute for emergency psychiatric or medical care.
8.2. If the Client experiences thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or is in any crisis situation, they should immediately contact a crisis hotline or the nearest emergency medical facility:
- Lifeline Ukraine — 7333 (free, 24/7)
- Or go to the nearest psychiatric emergency department.
8.3. The Specialist is not liable for technical failures (connection issues, Zoom platform issues, etc.) beyond their control, but will make every effort to resolve such situations as quickly as possible.
9. Website Tests
9.1. The PHQ-9 and GAD-7 tests available on the Website are screening tools intended for preliminary self-assessment and do not constitute a medical diagnosis.
9.2. Test results do not replace a consultation with a specialist and are provided for informational purposes only.
10. Changes to the Terms of This Offer
10.1. The Specialist reserves the right to amend the terms of this offer, including the cost of services. The current version is always available on this page.
10.2. Changes do not apply to consultations already paid for and scheduled prior to the publication of the new version.
